As the Die 4 Us community grows, so must our ability to stay organized.  Our ranking structure is necessary for managing our members and clan activities. Though its people are the key to D4US success, it is the structure that provides the mechanism for which to succeed.

It is the collective efforts of its members that helps elevate the group to new heights not achievable by doing it alone.

Our vision is to build a self-sustaining organization that is run by gamers FOR gamers.

Our mission is to  deliver a premier experience for Xbox Live gamers.

We can achieve this by:

1. Meeting regularly

2. Being selective about who gets in

3. Following a code of conduct

4. Participating and being active within the community

Recruit

As a recruit it is your responsibility to get to know the members of the clan, the code of conduct, and the standards of our community. Must at least attend 1 meeting a week.  Learn and respect the chain of command. Must read and understand the rules.

Private

A private's only responsibility is to game with the clan and learn the rules of L2D4. Many members choose to stay at the rank of private as they do not have the time in contributing to the management and extended activities of the clan. This is perfectly acceptable and respected by all members. You are not required to advance beyond private if you choose and can always do so at a later date. Privates are considered full members of L2D4 and enjoy all the rights and privileges thereof.

Sergeant

At this rank you may be able to start recruiting new clan members.  Make sure you read over the recruiting transcript. They will also help guide the recruits through their recruiting period. They are able to answer questions and concerns of Recruits and Privates.

Lieutenant

They know how to recruit well. They are no longer expected to recruit however they will help train and prepare Sergeant in the recruiting process.  They assist in the training of lower-ranking members and watch for rule infractions and serious breaches of our Code of Conduct.

From here on end, anyone who miss more then 2 meetings consecutively will be demoted.  If you have a good reason for an absence please let your management know.

Major

Will assist the General in mediating conflicts in the clan, maintain order within the clan, and watch for rule infractions.  They are also expected to take meeting notes and post on our website.

General

They organize clan activity, run meetings, and assist their commanders in the day to day operations of the clan. Generals train members of all lower ranks, mediate conflict in the clan, maintain order within the clan and watch for rule infractions.

Commander

They manage and maintain the standards of each clan such as promotions, removals and approving L2D4 tags. Commanders are the life-blood of the organization, and nearly every detail of maintaining the clan is within the bounds of their responsibility - Minimum: promotion will not be considered until Commander has shown facility managing 2 or more clans + well-trained replacement

The higher ranks manage the whole organization and are given special suffixes to their names to signify their rank. You can find more information on their particular roles on the forums. I can help you find this info if you wish. (Note: The following is a detailed description of the leadership ranks in L2D4 and you are allowed to briefly mention each major leadership position excluding the sub-ranks ie., Major, Colonel, General etc.)

Council

Run boardroom meetings. Possess specialized skills to aid in marketing, promotions & communications for entire clan.  Sets overall direction of clan business.
